How Will You Show Up When the World Is in Turmoil?

Using your senses while the world is in a state of turmoil is vital to finding our individual purpose to contribute to the collective.

Using senses includes not just sight, taste, smell, vision and auditory but…

Intentional Awareness: choosing to remain aware of your actions and the actions of others without judgment.

Judgement usually brings a variety of feeling of “I like or don’t like”.

What Is Intentional Awareness?

Intentional awareness can seem like:

  • Finding down time, to let the nervous system settle from activity.

  • Noticing peaks or excitement in your body + nervous system while you’re at rest.

    • simple awareness of when you get heated or excited from a thought, an online input/interaction, a conversation.

    • this can feel like the need to move your body, the need to raise your voice, the need to say something right then and there to prove a point.

  • Pausing when you recognize this heat/energy increase.

  • Returning to a relaxed state.

  • Allowing these thoughts, feelings, and responses to come and go.

  • Remaining aware that they’re there, without judging yourself for not acting on them.

But knowing the underlying message of where you can begin taking constructive action like planning what you’ll say or do to a point where it doesn’t cast another out, but invites their differences in…

  • Taking a moment to get your thoughts or feelings out on paper or in conversation with another who can hold a safe, non-judge mental space for you.

  • Using a boundary by noticing how your body reacts when difficult topics come up.

    • if you start to get fidgety, needing to say something, wanting to get up and leave.

    • respectfully express “I am not in a place to talk about this right now, can we switch topics?”

  • Pondering on what YOU can do about it.

    • this might look like taking action to state or federal government officials, developing a skill that will support others in these transitions, writing, attending events that seem attractive to you, connecting with others who seem calm and at peace with their mission.

Why We Need Your Individuality In the World

The world is dismantling. It’s going to be hard. And it’s going to be scary. But it’s also going to be so beautiful.

Now more than ever we need YOUR individuality.

But in your individuality, you need to respect the individuality of others.

There will always be duality which can look like depressed and divided or like peace and critical thinking together.

Tapping into our senses will lead us into what we’re charged and fired up to do.

The real skill is doing it from a centered space.

Many people’s opinions and thoughts that you’re attracted to have probably developed a centered space for themselves in order to publicly share that information. Each one of us is subject to our own beliefs, opinions, and what we deem necessary. That is all SO important. But what matters, is how you remain inclusive of everyone else’s thought or opinion and loving them for being in their individuality.

Finding your individuality begins with the suggestions in this article. Utilize a mentor or follow like minded people to help you continue to discover what lights you up so that you can organize it and present it to the world with love in order to make a difference.

So take time for you.

Use your senses.

Remain aware of what charges you up.

Remain intentional to not be judgmental.

Find peace in your mission by noticing how the more and more you find resources and information to help you express your individuality, you feel calm and in purpose-not in do or die action.
